The Town of Taber and the MD of Taber are excited to welcome the 2013 Southern Alberta Summer Games to our community.  The Games will be a great opportunity to showcase Taber and surrounding communities as well as our abundance of volunteers and community pride that will surround the event.

The Southern Alberta Summer Games hosted by Taber in 2005 and 2008 were both huge successes based upon the support of our communities volunteers, businesses and participants.new link

These games involve athletes of all ages and have a tradition of being a family event where everyone participates whether it be as an athlete, coach, organizer, volunteer or spectator.  Many generations of families have participated in the past and we hope to see that continue in Taber for 2013.

The games provide a showcase for athleticism as well as providing social and cultural opportunities that create lasting memories for the community and the participants.  We look forward to creating those memories with you!
